New preprint together with the Ketting Lab from the IMB in Mainz, Germany. We found the trimeric enzyme complex that processes the 5' of piRNA in C. elegans. The complex has three Schlafen-like domains and localizes to mitochondria, similar to Zucchini in flies and mice. (Update: published in Nature in September 2023)
December 2022
We received a WEAVE Grant to study piRNA processing in C. elegans together with the Ketting lab in Mainz.

The first paper from the lab is published in Genes & Development. Together with Hennig and Ketting labs, we show how the protein complex PETISCO contributes to piRNA processing in C. elegans. Click here for the paper.
